2.1 Account & Contact-Form Data You Provide

• Account information: name, email address, password, and any profile details you choose to provide when you register for a product.
• Contact-form data: your name, email address, subject, and message content when you contact us through our contact form or by email.
• Communications: records of your correspondence with our support team.

2.2 Server Logs & Technical Data (Collected Automatically)

• Server logs: IP address, date and time of requests, pages or files requested, HTTP status codes, referring URL, and browser/user-agent string. These are recorded by our web server for security, diagnostics, and abuse prevention.
• Device & usage data: browser type, operating system, and approximate location derived from IP address.

2.3 Cookies & Similar Technologies

9gg.app sets no analytics or advertising cookies today. The contact form uses a short-lived, signed anti-spam token and the server rate-limits submissions; neither involves tracking you across sites. For full details, please see our Cookie Policy.

3. Legal Bases for Processing

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): for analytics cookies and any optional marketing communications. You may withdraw consent at any time.
• Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): to create and operate your account and provide the services you request.
• Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): to comply with applicable laws, tax, and record-keeping requirements.
• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): to secure our systems, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain server logs, and respond to your enquiries. We balance these interests against your rights and freedoms.

• Provide, maintain, secure, and improve our websites and products.
• Create and manage accounts and process the requests you make.
• Respond to contact-form messages and support enquiries.
• Monitor, detect, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Understand aggregate usage trends (only where analytics consent is given).

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Third-Party Processors & Recipients

We share personal data only with service providers ("processors") who process it on our behalf under appropriate contractual safeguards, and only as needed to operate our services. These may include:

• Analytics providers — none today. Visits are counted from our own server logs (see below).

We may also disclose data where required by law, to protect our rights and the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

6. Analytics & Cookies

We do not currently run Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics on 9gg.app. To understand how many people visit and which pages they read, we use our own web-server access logs, which record the request, the page, the status code, the referring page and the browser string. Those logs are kept for security and diagnostics (see Data Retention) and are not shared with advertisers.

If we add a consent-gated analytics tool in the future, it will load only after you give consent, and this policy and our Cookie Policy will be updated before it goes live.

7. International Data Transfers

9GG LLC is based in the United States, and our processors may store or process data in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA or the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum), or transfers to recipients certified under an applicable adequacy framework. You may request a copy of the relevant safeguards by contacting the 9GG support desk.

8. Data Retention

• Account data: retained for as long as your account is active, and then deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period unless we must keep it to meet legal obligations.
• Contact-form messages: retained for up to 24 months to handle follow-up enquiries, then deleted.
• Server logs: retained for a short period (typically up to 90 days) for security and diagnostics, then rotated and deleted.
• Analytics data: none is collected today beyond the server logs above.

9. Your Privacy Rights

9.1 GDPR & UK GDPR Rights (EEA / UK Residents)

If you are in the EEA or the UK, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erasure ("right to be forgotten") in certain circumstances.
